By using any website, application, or service provided by Gandalfur Inc., you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Who these terms apply to
These terms govern your use of websites and applications provided by Gandalfur Inc. (Org. No: 559385-3046), a Swedish company based in Östergötland, Sweden — including this website and all applications distributed under the Gandalfur name.
Acceptable use
You may use our services for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our applications
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or access our services in bulk
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent any access controls or security measures
- Use our services in any way that violates applicable law
- Use our services to harm, harass, or impersonate others
Purchases and payments
All purchases of Gandalfur applications are made through the Apple App Store. Apple processes all payments and is solely responsible for payment handling, receipts, and billing disputes. Gandalfur Inc. does not receive or store your payment details. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies and applicable consumer law.
Intellectual property
All content within our applications and websites — including code, design, text, audio, trademarks, and logos — is the property of Gandalfur Inc. or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our applications for personal purposes. This licence does not include any right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.
Content you create within our applications remains yours. Where you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us an unrestricted licence to use that feedback to improve our services, without obligation to you.
Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Disclaimers
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GANDALFUR INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY UNDER WHICH SUCH LIABILITY IS CLAIMED.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or 100 SEK, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gandalfur Inc. and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our services.
Termination
You may stop using our services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in harmful behaviour, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use our services ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including limitations of liability and intellectual property terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply to the extent required by EU law.
Dispute resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at legal [at] gandalfur.com to resolve any dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to reach a resolution.
Swedish consumers who are unable to resolve a dispute informally may file a complaint with:

Disputes not resolved through the above processes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, with Linköpings tingsrätt as the court of first instance, without prejudice to any mandatory jurisdictional rights you hold under EU law.
General
Entire agreement: These terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Gandalfur Inc. regarding our services.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment: We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation. You may not assign your rights without our consent.
Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Language: These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version controls in the event of any conflict.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. The version number and date at the top of this page indicate the current version. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
